If there comes a day,

when you get what I say

I hope that day,

aint too far away

On that fateful day,

You’ll know what I say

and all I have been saying

right till today

Right on that day,

I would want to say

“Have it that way”

but I hope I can say it

That’s why I say,

Today is the day

Later the day is,

I might not say

what I really want to say

On that particular day

I don’t want you to pay

For what you didn’t say

right here today

For that fateful day,

may never come our way

If that’s the way,

I’ll have to walk away…
