Her Pain

She was hurt before,
and she is hurt again
By the very same people,
who cry peace upfront
and fight a shadow war

Her people have got used to this,
time and again they have been hit
By some cowards with no face,
and their cowardly actions

The people who should protect
are too busy squabbling
and eating away her penny
to fill their pockets
that her safety comes later

At least this time around
Pray for those souls,
Who lost their lives
and those poor lives they left behind
